    Pro European Labour rebels are threatening to quit the Labour party and form a new centrist party.

    This was bound to happen although I expected splinter groups to form after the Brexit deal was signed and a date decided.

    All they will do is ruin Corbyn's chances of winning if there is a general election. Or maybe that's the point!

    You have Corbyn on the left and Theresa May moving further towards Rees Mogg on the right. That leaves a gaping hole in the middle ground of British politics just waiting to be filled.
